Clinic-Wide Flooring Replacement in Thornhill

Dentistry on Greenlane wanted a warmer, more modern clinic without closing their doors. We replaced every floor in the practice — pulling up dated ceramic tile and worn dark carpet and installing light wood-look luxury vinyl tile (LVT) across reception, hallways, operatories, and offices — working in phases so the clinic stayed open throughout.

What we did

Dentistry on Greenlane is a busy Thornhill practice whose interior was let down by dated ceramic tile and worn carpet. The floors were tired, hard to clean, and out of step with the quality of care inside — but the clinic couldn’t afford to close for a renovation. We planned a flooring-only replacement and scheduled it in phases so the practice stayed open and operating throughout.

  • Demolition & removal — we lifted the old ceramic tile across the operatories, hallways, sterilization area, and offices, and pulled up the worn dark carpet in the back corridor.
  • Subfloor preparation — every area was cleaned, leveled, and prepped so the new flooring would sit flat and seamless.
  • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) — we installed warm, light wood-look LVT throughout: durable, water-resistant, comfortable underfoot, and easy to sanitize — well suited to a clinical environment.
  • Baseboards & transitions — fresh baseboards and clean transitions give the finish a crisp, cohesive edge from room to room.
  • Working around the practice — operatory equipment was wrapped and protected, and the work was sequenced room by room to keep the clinic running with minimal disruption.

The result is a lighter, warmer, more contemporary clinic with a single, continuous floor tying the whole practice together — delivered without closing the doors.
